Celebrate 250 Years of the U.S. Army: An 18th-Century Experience

Celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army and the historic moment when George Washington took command of the United States Army.


Visit an 18th-century military encampment and witness military drills and firing demonstrations.


Plus, enjoy live patriotic music, a boat parade along the Potomac River, and a presentation with George Washington’s majestic horses.


Free admission for U.S. Military: Active Duty, Retired & Veterans. Show ID for admittance. Limited to 1 free admission per military member. This offer can be redeemed in-person only.
