Join us for a reading of You Can’t Do That, Amelia! by Kimberly Wagner Klier and learn about how Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. People said she couldn’t do it, but Amelia did! After the story stay to make a model plane from simple materials that you can take home and continue to play with.


Story Time and Museum admission are free; timed-entry passes are required and may be reserved at airandspace.si.edu


Note: effective July 28, 2025, the Museum's entrance will be on Jefferson Drive (across from the National Mall).
